Why he is Cool: Belgian film producer and director, Michel de Wouters has been involved with the Polar Foundation since its creation and he is currently the director and administrator of the Polar Foundation in South Africa.

To promote the UN’s global campaign on climate change Seal the Deal, Michel de Wouters produced a short film called: “Wear Seal the Deal” with the Belgian fashion designer Jean-Paul Knott.

In this film Jean-Paul Knott shows us how to wear the UN’s climate change slogan calling on world leaders to Seal the deal in Copenhagen in December.

Cool facts: In an earlier partnership with UNRIC, Michel de Wouters produced the film Draw the Line covering the initiative Cartooning for Peace, launched in 2006 at the United Nations Headquarters with 16 political cartoonists.

Over his career as a film maker, Michel de Wouters has produced many documentaries on artistic, environmental and political topics.
